I booked Mom and Dad a flight for TODAY from San Diego, departing at 3:22pm PST and arriving in Omaha at 10:41pm CST.
They are spending their last few hours in San Diego taking it easy and catching some of the "local" sights near their hotel.
I will update when they've arrived home safely.

Richard and I have been gone since the 5th and heard that Bruce was in the hospital but that was about it. A big thank you to Lana for giving me this blog address!!! I want you to know how very thankful we are that he is making such a wonderful and speedy recovery. A person never knows from one day to the next what may happen. The power of prayer is truly amazing. To you Dana and Donna - I know how terribly hard and exhausting it is to have been at the hospital all of the time. But like me you wouldn't have been anywhere else, no matter how exhausted you became. We are so very happy for the entire family (even Joy!!!!) that Bruce is back home and that his recovery is going very good. Families are very precious. Thumbs up to all of you!!!!! We are about ready to leave again, but Lana has my cell number and I'm sure she'll keep us posted. Take care. Richard and Kris
